Nearly two decades of hands-on experience with client-facing roles and investment analysis have given me the knowledge and confidence to make well-founded decisions and to communicate on all levels – from entry level colleagues to C-suite clients. The main focus during my whole career has been on investments in general and in particular on both Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation (SAA & TAA). In addition I have chosen to specialize on Alternative Investments with emphasis on selecting and monitoring external managers. Becoming a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) was a natural consequence to manifest my knowledge in Alternative Investments. My international background is a valuable asset in my day-to -day work where I use my mother tongue German and fluency in Danish and English to build lasting business relationships. In addition I have also a very good understanding of Swedish.
Heading the Alternative Investments team covering Private Equity, Infrastructure, Credit, Timberland and Liquid Alts.
Senior Portfolio Manager for Alternative Investments. Working with Private Markets (Private Equity, Infrastructure, Timberland and Impact Investing) as well as Alternative Risk Premia.
In addition, I have done extensive research on Private ILS & CAT Bonds.
Running the whole process from asset class strategy, due diligence process, investment recommendation, closing and finally managing the existing portfolio.
Senior Analyst in the Investment & Risk Allocation Group where we managed the return-seeking portfolio. My main focus was on Credit & Alternatives (in particular Real Estate and CAT bonds). Besides External Manager Search, Selection & Monitoring, I have done extensive research on drivers of real estate returns and factor investing in credits. Other accomplishments include the development of macro economic models for recession forecasting, fair value models for interest rates, credit spreads and inflation models.
My work on the Strategic Asset Allocation desk comprised the construction of robust model portfolios for Private Banking and Retail Banking, the analysis and optimization of multi-asset client portfolios and the presentation of bespoke portfolio solutions to selected clients. Furthermore my role was to act as a sparring partner to the investment advisers and to further develop the advisory concept. To make our work more efficient, I have developed and redeveloped several tools which has cut time spent on different tasks significantly.
My main responsibility was to service a portfolio of (mainly German) institutional clients. I was also a product specialist for fixed income & credit products and supported the sales team with expert knowledge on these products. On my own initiative I took responsibility for a weekly market update where I provided my colleagues with insight into what has happened in the global economy and the financial markets.
Responsible for my own portfolio of German HNWI clients and giving investment advice in instruments ranging from managed solutions to single name equities and corporate bonds, EM debt, FX and options. In addition to that, I held regularly presentations about economics and investments at client events. When I started at JBPB I was hired as a Junior adviser with a portfolio consisting of smaller clients. After growing both the AuM and the income on the portfolio significantly, I was promoted to Senior and given some of the most complex and demanding clients. Due to my interest in and talent for leadership I was promoted to “team responsible” where my duty was to coach, educate and inspire my team colleagues.
I worked as a client adviser where I both had my own portfolio of investment advisory clients but also selling consumer credits and insurance products to retail clients.
General bank education and afterwards working with retail clients.
